At their meeting on 7 March, the Ministers' Deputies adopted the following texts:

• the Council of Europe Gender Equality Strategy 2018-2023;
• recommendations to member States on:
  • media pluralism and transparency of media ownership;
  • the roles and responsibilities of internet intermediaries;
  • cultural heritage facing climate change: increasing resilience and promoting adaptation.

They also took note of:

• a report on the process of selection and election of judges of the European Court of Human Rights;
• an analysis of the legal and practical aspects of effective alternatives to detention in the context of migration.

Finally, the Deputies held an exchange of views with Ms Nina Vajic, President of the Advisory Panel of Experts on Candidates for Election as Judge to the European Court of Human Rights, on the activities and results of the Panel.
