At their 1422nd meeting, on 19 January, the Ministers’ Deputies heard a communication from Despina Chatzivassiliou-Tsovilis, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly, on the preparation of the 1st part of the 2022 Session (Strasbourg, 24-28 January 2022) and other Assembly activities, together with a farewell address by Rik Daems, outgoing President of the Assembly.
The Deputies also approved the holding of a Council of Europe Conference of Ministers of Culture in Strasbourg on 1 April 2022 and noted that the title of the conference would be: “Creating our future: creativity and cultural heritage as strategic resources for a diverse and democratic Europe”.
