In the framework of the Eastern Partnership Programmatic Co-operation Framework (2015-2017) between The Council of Europe and the European Commission, the Division of Electoral Assistance of the Council of Europe implements two projects:

In 2015, in addition to PCF, the Division of Electoral Assistance implemented a pre-electoral  assistance project for the 2015 local elections in the Republic of Moldova.

Geographic coverage: Republic of Moldova (bilateral action) and the countries of the Eastern Partnership (regional action)

Focus Area:  Increasing the training capacities of the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training by the CEC of Republic of Moldova and strengthening its communication strategy. Contribute to reforming electoral practice in line with the European standards and principles of free and fair elections.  

Partners: Centre for Continuous Electoral Training, Central Election Commission, Coordinated Council of Audiovisual, National Institute of Justice, Union of Lawyers, Moldovan non-governmental organisations and political parties.
