New functionalities to the electronic tools will make the courses in the electoral field more accessible

The Council of Europe, in co-operation with the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova (CEC) and the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (Training Centre) launched on 14 July 2021 the development of new functionalities for the two electronic tools of the Training Centre. E-learning platform and electronic Register of training and certified experts will make the electoral courses more accessible.

Thus, the members of the electoral management bodies, of the social society, first-time voters, journalists, observers or any interested person is able to enrol themselves into different courses. Once they complete successfully the relevant electoral course, they will get an official certificate.

The new functionalities will also allow hosting of the third parties’ electoral courses and the Training Centre’s digital library. As a result, the access of the members of public to electoral knowledge, library, studies and practices gathered by the CEC and the Training Centre will enlarge.

This activity is funded and implemented by the Council of Europe project Improving Electoral Practice in the Republic of Moldova, Phase II.
