On 24 June 2021, the Bureaux of the European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ) and of the Steering Committee for the Rights of the Child (CDENF) held their 2nd joint meeting to review the progress made by their joint subordinate body the CJ/ENF-ISE, and discuss the committee’s priorities and workplan for 2021 and beyond. They examined the draft feasibility studies on the best interests of the child in parental separation situations and in care proceedings and agreed their publication. The Bureaux held a preliminary exchange of views on the options for the policy instruments and practical tools to be developed by the Committee. Both feasibility studies will be available shortly.
