On 26 November 2021, the Council of Europe/European Union project “Improving the juvenile justice system and strengthening the education and training of penitentiary staff in Slovenia” held its first Advisory Group meeting online. Representatives of the main national stakeholders were present, along with a representative from the European Commission (DGREFORM).

The meeting aimed at adopting the Terms of Reference of the Group and the workplan for the rest of the project. In addition, the Advisory Group discussed the main findings of the project’s inception report drafted by the Council of Europe on the basis of inputs received by stakeholders in bilateral meetings held in the last two months.

The second Advisory Group meeting is scheduled to take place in February 2022.
