Back ENOC Conference: children's rights in the digital environment

After having presented a masterclass on "How to better engage with Council of Europe Human Rights Mechanisms relevant to the rights of the child?", the Head of Division and Programme co-ordinator for Children's rights at Council of Europe, Ms Regina Jensdottir, is participating in the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children (ENOC) Annual Conference ""Online/Offline: A Child's World", considering children's rights in the digital enviroment.

The Conference is hosted by the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People, Ms Koulla Yiasouma. Experts are sharing their knowledge and experience with representatives of independent children’s rights institutions. Ms Jensdottir is presenting the Council of Europe´s work, notably on actions undertaken in the framework of the Council of Europe Strategy for the Rights of the Child (2016-2021) and of the Guidelines to respect, protect and fulfil the rights of children in the digital environment (CM/Rec(2018)7). ENOC members can share best practices, information and strategies, and will go on to endorse the ENOC position statement on children's rights in the digital environment.
