On 13-14 December 2021, the Council of Europe Committee of Experts on the Rights and the Best Interests of the Child in Parental Separation and in Care Proceedings (CJ/ENF-ISE) will hold its 4th meeting during which it will discuss the preliminary draft legal instrument on the protection of the best interests of the child and their rights in situations of parental separation and care proceedings.
The Committee will also exchange views on a proposed methodology to carry out the child consultations on its work and will agree on its programme and working methods for the next biennium in order to complete its work in accordance with its terms of reference.
