During its 30th plenary meeting, the CEPEJ will also use the occasion to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Since 2003, the CEPEJ has been entrusted by the Committee of Ministers with the task of improving the quality and efficiency of judicial systems and strengthening the confidence of individuals in the member States. This work has since spread beyond Europe. The activity will begin with a Study Session on "Artificial Intelligence and Judicial Systems" on 27 June 2018 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. This event will be broadcast live from the website of the CEPEJ. The CEPEJ should then adopt its Report "European judicial systems - Efficiency and quality of justice" evaluating the functioning of the judicial systems of the Member and Observer States (Israel, Morocco) from the 2016 data. This report should be published next October.
