The 17th meeting of the Bureau of the Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP) took place in Paris (Council of Europe Office) on 25-26 November 2019.

Bureau members exchanged on the progress made in current CDCPP projects in the field of culture, heritage and landscape. They planed the next special thematic session for the CDCPP plenary in June 2020, following the success of this year’s event on sustainable development and climate change.

Bureau members also fine-tuned the Council of Europe’s forthcoming recommendation on cultural heritage and the challenges of preventing risks in day-to-day management: enhancing the attention of States, specialists and citizens, exchange on a forthcoming publication on Culture, Creativity and Artificial Intelligence and the follow-up to the Nicosia conference on promoting the Council of Europe's Convention on Offences related to Cultural Property (24-26 October 2019).
