On 4 and 5 October 2017, the members of the working groups, created for the purposes of the implementation of the Judicial Reform Strategy of Georgia, met in Tbilisi to identify needs in relation to the establishment of a monitoring and evaluation framework for an effective implementation of the Judicial Reform Strategy and its Action Plan 2017-2018. The participants, 32 members of the judiciary and the High Council of Justice staff, engaged actively in discussions aiming at identifying the scope and topics for Monitoring and Evaluation training. The meeting was led by Mr. Daniels Pavluts, international consultant for the Support to the Judicial Reform Project.

As a result of the meeting, participants agreed to include the following topics in the training to be organised on 31 October 2017: indicator-identification, work plan-drafting and reporting.

The “Support to the Judicial Reform” Project is funded by voluntary contributions of Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Norway, the Slovak Republic and Sweden to support the implementation of the Council of Europe Action plan for Georgia 2016-2019. The activity was organised in co-ordination and partnership with the EU4Justice Judicial Reform Support Project.
