Communication Workshop for the Georgian Bar Association

Communication Workshop for the Georgian Bar Association

The Council of Europe organised a two-day workshop on customer communication standards and training cycle management for the Georgian Bar Association on 16-17 March in Tbilisi.

On 16 March the Council of Europe national expert overviewed the main standards of customer communication, main instruments and techniques resulting in more efficient communication with target groups of the Bar Association including lawyers, new-comers to the profession, interns and the wider public interested in the services provided by the organisation.

The second day of the workshop was specifically held for the Georgian Bar Association training centre staff focusing on training cycle management. The participants had the opportunity to go through the training planning stages considering training goals, quality measurement tools, risk factors and key performance indicators resulting in the development of needs-based trainings for lawyers.

The event aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Georgian Bar Association staff by supporting the activities under the 2019-2022 Development Strategy of the organisation.

The activity was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe project “Support to the Judicial Reform in Georgia”, which is funded by voluntary contributions of Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Slovak Republic, and Sweden to support the implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2016 - 2019.
