CDCJ members at the 92nd plenary meeting (Strasbourg, 22-24 November 2017)

The European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ) at its meeting in Strasbourg from 22 to 24 November 2017 (see above the picture of CDCJ members) approved publication of a report reviewing follow-up action taken by Council of Europe member states to the Committee of Ministers Recommendation CM/Rec(2009)11 on principles concerning continuing powers of attorney and advance directives for incapacity. It discussed inter alia on-going and future work on the administrative detention of migrants, revision of the Council of Europe handbook “The Administration and You”, online dispute resolution mechanisms,  legal aid,  digital evidence and the avoidance of statelessness in Europe. It also elected its new Bureau for 2018.
