Mr Pavel Šturma provided the CAHDI experts with an overview on the Report on the 70th session (2018) of the International Law Commission. In this respect, he reviewed the different topics of work of the ILC as well as their respective progress, in particular concerning the "Subsequent agreements and subsequent practice in relation to the interpretation of treaties", the “Identification of customary international law”, the “Protection of the atmosphere”, the “Provisional application of treaties”, the “Peremptory norms of general international law (jus cogens)”, the “Protection of the environment in relation to armed conflicts”, the “Succession of States in respect of State responsibility” and the debate on the sixth report on “Immunity of State officials from foreign criminal jurisdiction”
