What are the challenges for human beings posed by developments in biomedicine and how do they affect our human rights?

On the occasion of the upcoming UN-led Global Ethics and Bioethics Week on 14-18 October 2019, the Council of Europe, alongside other members and associate members of the UN Inter Agency Committee on Bioethics (UNIACB), are raising awareness for the importance of bioethics for promoting the wellbeing of and respect for human beings with a series of short filmed interviews with key representatives and experts.
