To follow up on the decision of the Standing Committee to the Bern Convention to report on the conservation status of species and habitats under Resolution 8(2012), a training workshop has been hosted by the European Environment Agency (EEA) in Copenhagen from 17 to 18 April 2018.

Thanks to the support of the EEA through the European Union project ENI SEIS EAST II, Contracting Parties and observer States to the Bern Convention have been given the opportunity to become familiar with the reporting format and with the spatial data/GIS requirements under the reporting.
