The Bern Convention Group of Experts on the conservation of birds held its 7th meeting in Valencia, Spain, on 9-10 June 2022. The meeting was held by hybrid means and took stock of work done so far on the implementation of the previous Bern Convention Recommendations on birds and power lines and discussed the further needs for work on the matter. Invited experts presented further on 1) the reintroduction of species in Valencia, 2) the legal framework on powerlines and birds in Spain, 3) the risks of lead poisoning from ammunitions on bird species, 4) multi-species action plans in the Mura-Drava-Danube region and Türkiye.
