The Group of Experts on Biodiversity and Climate Change met online on 23 May 2022.

The Group discussed whether its mandate is still adapted to the current challenges, examined the findings of a survey on the progress in the implementation by Contracting Parties of Recommendation No. 206 (2019) on nature-based solutions and management of protected areas in the face of climate change, resumed its discussion on the objectives, scope and format of a reporting on the recommendations of the Standing Committee, explored possible avenues of cooperation with the Group of Experts on Invasive Alien Species and took stock of the state of implementation of the NaturAdapt LIFE project.
