The third edition of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Breakfasts, co-organised with the University of Strasbourg (UMR DRES), took place on 2 December 2019 on the theme of data and the rule of law: Data, new power engineering, what are the consequences for the rule of law?

Adrien Basdevant, lawyer and author of the book "L'empire des données", presented his views on the ongoing societal transformations and governance issues.

The next meeting will take place in February 2020 at the Council of Europe between 8.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m., on the subject of the regulation of autonomous vehicles. The staff of the Council and the Permanent Representations are already cordially invited.
