The 30th meeting of the Committee of the Parties to the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings took place in Strasbourg on 17 June 2022 (a combination of physical and online meeting).

During the meeting, the Committee re-elected Ambassador Christian Meuwly (Switzerland) as Chair for a second term of office and elected Ambassador Maria Spassova (Bulgaria) as Vice-Chair for a first term of office of one year.

The Committee adopted recommendations concerning Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Latvia, Norway and Portugal, based on GRETA’s third round evaluation reports.

The Committee also considered reports from the governments of Austria, Cyprus, Monaco, San Marino and the Slovak Republic concerning the implementation of previous recommendations issued to these Parties.

Further, the Committee held an exchange of views with Ms Leyla Kayacik, Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees.
