Sometimes completed Autobiographies of Intercultural Encounters (AIE) present the educator with causes for concern. They might reveal the learner’s continuing prejudices and lack of cultural awareness; they might even reveal instances of questionable behaviour that require action. In this activity you are asked to analyse a selection of problematic AIE stories, to identify the causes for concern and choose the most appropriate actions for the educator to take from a given list of strategies.
