A second edition of the periodic electoral journal ‘Elections and Democracy’ is published. The journal is prepared in cooperation with the Supreme Election Commission of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara.

Leading electoral and legal experts structured their articles addressing most discussed topics among electoral stakeholders and general public: overview and analysis of recent electoral reform and practices on national and regional levels, social media and importance of transparency of political finances, political party funding: novelties in domestic regulations and review of good international practices, safeguards ensuring secrecy of votes and etc.

The publication is available in print and electronic formats. The journal has obtained a status of Peer-reviewed Publication and is displayed on the international database of ulrichsweb.The publication is also publicly accessible on various professional e-libraries, including http://www.library.court.ge/ and www.scribd.com.

The journal was published in the framework of the Council of Europe Project ‘Supporting Transparency, Inclusiveness and Integrity of Electoral Practice and Process in Georgia’.
