The Council of Europe will bring together, from 5 to 10 December, over 30 youth workers and representatives of youth centres from various places of Ukraine to discuss youth work in the context of the ongoing war. They will notably focus on the response provided by youth work stakeholders, including humanitarian aid and youth services for internally displaced young people, as well as on the impact of the war on the activities of the youth centres and personal wellbeing of youth workers in Ukraine.

One of the aims of the seminar is to put the Ukrainian youth workers in contact with colleagues across Europe for professional exchanges and solidarity.

Media can follow the session about youth policy during wartime with Maryna Popatenko, Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports of Ukraine (7 December, 2.30-3.30 pm) as well as the session about youth policy in Strasbourg with Véronique Bertholle, Deputy Mayor of the city (9 December, 9.30-10.30 am)
