Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP): Cultural Routes Programme presented at the 9th Plenary meeting

On 12 November 2020, the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Programme was presented online at the 9th Plenary meeting of the Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP) by Mr. Alfredas JOMANTAS, representative of the  EPA Governing Board to the CDCPP.

The presentation underlined recent achievements of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) and the growing relevance of the Cultural Routes programme, as well as ongoing projects. Mr. Jomantas warmly invited not yet participating Council of Europe Member States to join the EPA in the future.

The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Programme was mentioned during the CDCPP as a best practice for sustainable development in a thematic session on Climate Change and Sustainable Development Goals.

The CDCPP is the committee of the Council of Europe, responsible for activities related to Culture, Heritage and Landscape and for following-up on their implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The 9th Plenary meeting was held from 10 to 13 November 2020 online.
