On 18 November 2020 the International Association Prehistoric Rock Art Trails helheld its ordinary general assembly meeting through an online conference.

 

The meeting was opened by Mr Fernando ISASI and Mr. Ramón MONTES BARQUÍN, Managers of the Prehistoric Rock Art Trails Association, Mr. Leoncio CARRASCAL, Chairperson of the network, and Mr. Stefano DOMINIONI, Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR), who congratulated the network on the 10th anniversary of its certification by the Council of Europe and highlighted its success and growth within the last decade.

The Prehistoric Rock Art Trails are a very active member of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme, bringing together 44 members from 8 different countries.

During the general assembly the network discussed the developments of the last year, including past activities, the Covid-19 impacts, a new website and the accession of new members. Furthermore, the economic report of the network was discussed and activities for 2021 were proposed. The Prehistoric Rock Art Trails also elected a new Board of Directors for the 2020-2024 period. The ordinary general assembly was immediately followed by an extraordinary general assembly, discussing the approval of the accession of new members.
