The Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) is pleased to welcome Albania as a new EPA member State.

On 27 April, HE Ms. Olta XHAÇKA, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, informed HE Mrs. Marija PEJČINOVIĆ BURIĆ, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, of the decision of Albania to accede to the EPA.

Albania becomes the 36th member State of the EPA as of 12 May 2022.

Albania is currently crossed by 4 “Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”:

· The Routes of the Olive Tree

· The Phoenicians’ Route

· ATRIUM

· The Aeneas Route
