On 19 November, a representative of the Execution Department participated in the 13th Warsaw Seminar on Human Rights entitled "The Rights of the Child in the light of the European Convention on Human Rights" by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ombudsman for Children of Poland.
This seminar was devoted to the protection of the rights of the child, particularly in the context of the ECHR and the case law of the European Court. It was intended for an international audience and brought together over 150 participants from various professional backgrounds: parliamentarians, judges, members of the diplomatic and academic corps and civil society. The seminar was an opportunity to share experiences on standards for the protection of children's rights in Europe. The representative of the Execution Department presented the challenges in the implementation of the European Court's judgments concerning children, as well as the means to overcome them, in the spirit of shared responsibility of all stakeholders involved in the execution.
