Hatay, 06/02/2013 - By invitation of Turkish Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin, Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland, visited the Altınözü refugee camp near the Syrian border where he exchanged views with refugees and officials. Turkey, a founding member state of the Council of Europe, currently hosts some 170.000 Syrian refugees.
