Strasbourg, 18/10/2012 - “It is vitally important that all EU Member States, and the Union itself, sign and ratify the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings as soon as possible”, today declared Nicolas le Coz, President of GRETA, the Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. 

The Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings provides a pan-European framework for co-operation between countries of destination, transit and origin and also enables country-by-country monitoring and reporting.
