Guidelines on Strategic Development of the MIL Informal Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The launch of the Informal Network of actors in the field of Media and Information Literacy (MIL) in 2019 in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents an important step toward a systemic approach for the development and promotion of media and information literacy in the country. While the network has continued its work on MIL on goodwill and good initiatives, there is momentum to start shaping the future of the Network, its role, organisation and way of functioning, financing, goals and other operational aspects.

The “Guidelines on Strategic Development of the MIL Informal Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina” present 10 (ten) key recommendations for the strategic development of the network, while offering also practical guidance aimed at informing the implementation process of the recommendations.

This paper has been done with the support of the Council of Europe and its action Media and information literacy: for human rights and more democracy (MIL), within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2021. Action Plan level funding is provided by Luxembourg and Norway. The opinions expressed in this work are the responsibility of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the official policy of the Council of Europe.
