12.04.2013 - The Andorran ambassador to the Council of Europe participated in a thematic meeting of the monitoring group of the Council of Europe Anti-Doping Convention. He explained that the model consisting purely of the trio "control, detection and sanction" no longer sufficed and that young sports players as well as stakeholders in the sports world should be educated to combat this illicit practice infringing the most basic rules of our societies.

This event, placed under the auspices of the Andorran Chairmanship, brought together some fifty experts from member states, representatives of WADA, UNESCO and other international organisations specialising in this field, together with representatives of the sports world, journalism and academia.
