Bosnia and Herzegovina: teleconference on execution of ECHR judgments

On 2 November, the Execution Department organised a teleconference with the Government Agent’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on certain leading cases pending before the Committee of Ministers: Đokić and Mago, concerning the applicants’ inability to repossess pre-war military flats; Hadžimejlić group, concerning the applicants’ unlawful placement in a social care home; Kunić group, concerning the non-enforcement of judgments on public work-related benefits; and Subošić, concerning non-enforcement of judgments related to war damages.

The online meeting provided an opportunity to exchange also on ways in which the authorities may submit regular and timely information to the Committee of Ministers on the execution of the ECHR judgments, and further enhance their cooperation with the department.
