The European Court of Human Rights opens its doors to the public

For the first time in ten years, the European Court of Human Rights is holding an open day to mark its 60th anniversary. This iconic building with modern architecture monitors respect for the rights and fundamental freedoms of individuals within the jurisdiction of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe. The Palais de l’Europe will also open its doors to the public to celebrate the Council of Europe’s 70th anniversary.

This event will take place on

Sunday 5 May 2019 from 10am to 6pm

The Department for the Execution of Judgments of the European Court will participate to these open doors. Come to get information and ask questions about the implementation process of the Court’s judgments. Learn more about the way the Court’s judgments and their execution have made it possible to change the lives of millions of people across Europe.
