Gabriella Battaini Dragoni and Chiara Gariazzo, Director for Youth and Sport (Directorate General Education and Culture) of the European Commission, have signed a Framework Partnership Agreement in the field of youth for 2014-2016.
Council of Europe – European Union partnership (http://youth-partnership-eu.coe.int) in 2014 – 2016 focuses on three specific themes: participation / citizenship, social inclusion and access to social rights, recognition and quality of youth work. The geographic scope will include South-Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and South Mediterranean areas.
The co-operation between the Council of Europe and the European Union for youth activities started in 1998.
Bjørn Berge serves as the Council of Europe’s Deputy Secretary General since 1 March 2021.
