Scoping mission to support to inter-agency cooperation in economic crime area

On 7 and 8 June 2017, a scoping mission including a workshop on “Support to inter-agency cooperation in economic crime area’’ took place in Pristina, Kosovo*. Representatives of the Financial Intelligence Unit, Police, Tax Administration, Customs, Anti-Corruption Agency, Central Bank, State Prosecution and other relevant institutions discussed current practices related to inter-agency cooperation as well as practical challenges encountered in this regard.

In addition, the Project team held bilateral meetings with the relevant law enforcement institutions including international community to analyse existing inter-agency cooperation procedures and practices in the economic crime area. The information collected during the scoping mission will serve as a basis for preparing an overview analysis of inter-agency cooperation mechanisms in the economic crime area.
