2009-11 Strategy for "Building a Europe for and with children"

Under the joint chairmanship of Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden and Miguel Angel Moratinos, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Spain, who is taking over from him, the Ministers' Deputies adopted the 2009-2011 Strategy for "Building a Europe for and with children".

This constitutes a long-term undertaking for the Council of Europe, and should therefore be partnered with continuous action. As a contribution to the development of this important strategy, the Spanish Chairmanship will organise a conference in the spring of 2009 in Toledo on the theme of children in the justice system.
