Dangers of asbestos

The ad hoc Group of experts on health protection against dangers of asbestos, during its 1st meeting (Strasbourg, 2 - 3 December 1999) unanimously agreed on the desirability of revising Resolution AP (81) 5 on technical and personal protective measures for the prevention of exposure of workers to asbestos dust.

This task of revision ended with the adoption by the Committee of Ministers, the 6 October 2000, of the Resolution AP(2000) 2 on the prevention of asbestos-induced health risks for workers
