7th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Equality between women and men

Baku, 24 - 25 May 2010

The 7th Council of Europe Conference of Minister responsible for Equality between women and men was held on 24-25 May 2010 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The main theme of the Conference was:

Gender equality: bridging the gap between de jure and de facto equality”

There were two sub-themes:

Positive action and gender mainstreaming to achieve de facto gender equality;
Combating gender stereotypes: the role of education and the media
