Group of Specialists on the Judiciary (CJ-S-JUD)
Background
The Group of specialists on the judiciary (CJ-S-JUD) was created in order to revise the Recommendation No. R (94) 12 on the independence, efficiency and role of judges building on the work already carried out by the Group of specialists on the independence, efficiency and role of judges (CJ-S-JUST). Its terms of reference were adopted by the Committee of Ministers in October 2008.
