 For 2013,
the Committee of Ministers entrusted the CCPE with the task to draft an opinion on
the difficulties concerning the implementation of Recommendation Rec(2000)19
when dealing with the improvement of the prosecutions services in
members states, in particular the relations between prosecutors and the
media. The draft opinion will be
submitted for adoption at the 8th plenary meeting of the CCPE, on 28 and
29 November 2013 in Strasbourg.
Working group
The working group in charge
of preparing Opinion No. 8 held its meetings on 21 and 22 March. The
group will meet again on 27 and 28 June 2013 in Strasbourg. The plenary
meeting, during which the Opinion should be adopted, will take place on
28 and
29 November 2013 in Strasbourg (France).
