5. Examination of the CCPE’s Terms of Reference for 2012 and 2013
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe is expected to adopt the Terms of Reference for all committees, including those of the CCPE, at its 1127th meeting on 22-24 November 2011.
The CCPE is invited to take note of its new Terms of Reference, which was prepared in consultation with the Bureau of the CCPE.

6. Preparation of the CCPE Opinion for 2012
Subject to approval of the Committee of Ministers, the CCPE has to adopt before the end of 2012:
- an Opinion on the relations between prosecutors and the media;
- an Opinion on the management of the means of the prosecution services.
The CCPE would need to choose which of these topics it wishes to deal with in 2012, and then adopt a questionnaire on the chosen topic.

8. Election of the President and Vice-President
According to Resolution Res(2005)47, the CCPE shall proceed with the election of its Chair and Vice-Chair.
During the last plenary meeting of the CCPE, Mr João Manuel da SILVA MIGUEL (Portugal) and Mr Antonio MURA (Italy) were elected respectively Chair and Vice-Chair of the CCPE for 2011. Their respective terms of office can be renewed.
Any other member wishing to put forward his/her candidature must inform the Secretariat about it before 24 November 2011, 12.00 in writing.
9. Election of one member of the Bureau
According to Resolution Res(2005)47, the CCPE shall proceed with the partial election of its Bureau.
During the last plenary meeting of the CCPE, Mrs Raija TOIVIAINEN (Finland) was elected member of the Bureau for 2011 and 2012. Mr Cédric VISART DE BOCARME (Belgium) was elected member of the Bureau for 2011, replacing Mr Antonio MURA. The election will therefore concern only one member of the Bureau.
Any other member wishing to put forward his/her candidature must inform the Secretariat about it before 24 November 2011, 12.00 in writing.
10. Election of the members of the CCPE-GT for 2012
According to Resolution Res(2005)47 (“Where necessary, in order to expedite the progress of their work, committees may entrust a limited number of committee members with a specific task to be fulfilled by their next meeting”), the CCPE can decide to set up a Working Group which will be entrusted with the preparation, before its 7th plenary meeting, of the draft Opinion for 2012. The members of the Bureau of the CCPE will also attend the CCPE-GT meetings.
The CCPE should entrust its Bureau with the designation of the Working Group members on the basis of the list of candidates which will be prepared by the Secretariat.
Any member of the CCPE wishing to become member of the 2012 Working Group must inform the Secretariat in writing during the plenary meeting.
11. Relations between the CCPE and other bodies inside and outside the Council of Europe
- Draft Recommendation of the CDCJ on the role of prosecutors outside the criminal law field
- Participation of the CCPE in various European and international events concerning prosecutors
The delegations are invited to enumerate the events (since November 2010) where they presented the work of the CCPE.
