Religions and International Human Rights Law

8-26 July, Strasbourg - The International Institute of Human Rights (IIHR) will organise its 44th annual study session on “Religions and International Human Rights Law".

Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland will open the session. Among the participants will be Jean-Paul Costa, President of the IIHR and former President of the European Court of Human Rights; Dinah Shelton, member and former President of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights; and Sébastien Touzé, Professor of Public International Law at Strasbourg University and Secretary General of the IIHR.

A press conference by Thorbjørn Jagland and Jean-Paul Costa will take place on Monday 8 July at 10h30, in the Palais de l’Europe.
