Study visit of a group of Georgian prosecutors to the European Court of Human Rights
A study visit of a group of ten Georgian prosecutors to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and the Council of Europe headquarters in Strasbourg will take place on 6-7 March 2013, in the framework of Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-2013 “Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rights”.

During the visit, the prosecutors will attend a Grand Chamber Hearing of the ECtHR, learn about the latest developments in the case-law of the Court and the work of different bodies of the Council of Europe. The participants will meet with officials of the ECtHR and the Council of Europe Secretariat.  The study visit will allow the participants to get a better understanding of the activities and standards of the Council of Europe that have a bearing on the work of the prosecutors.
