A two-day training seminar on the implementation of parole
for newly recruited probation officers of National Probation Agency will take
place in Kachreti, on 26-27 May 2012, in the framework of the Denmark’s Georgia
Programme 2010-2013 “Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rights”
The training will be led by the trainers of the Penitentiary and Probation
Training Centre who have been trained by the Council of Europe in June 2011. The
training aims to acquaint probation officers with the European standards on
parole and is the final training out of six held nationwide.
