The Committee’s responsibilities are numerous, and include monitoring how Council of Europe legal instruments in transfrontier co-operation are implemented in member states, facilitating the exchange of member states’ experience in transfrontier co-operation, particularly in good practice, and making proposals at intergovernmental level to encourage and facilitate transfrontier co-operation.
