During the closing ceremony of the Seville Film Festival which took place on Saturday, 11 November, 2006 and upon decision by the Jury, the Eurimages President Jacques Toubon awarded the Eurimages prize of 30 000 € to the Spanish distributor of the film “Your name is Justyna” by Franco de Pea, a co-production between Poland and Luxembourg supported by the Eurimages Fund.

The day before in Rome, the international jury of the MedFilm Festival awarded the Eurimages prize to the film "Stolen Eyes" by Radoslav Spassov (Bulgaria-Turkey), rewarding the combination of beautiful aesthetics of an important cinematography, the simpleness of the plot and tragically topical contents of today’s world: the relationship between two different identities.
