Eurimages at the 10th Seville European Film Festival

The "Premio Eurimages", a prize worth 30,000 euros for the distribution of the film in Spain, was awarded to the European co-production "La Prima Linea" by Renato de Maria during the closing ceremony of the festival which took place last Saturday in the presence of the President of Eurimages, Mr Jobst Plog. Over 150 productions were screened at this 10th edition of the Seville European Film Festival, which, as in previous years, devoted one of its sections to a selection of films supported by the Eurimages Fund.

This festival, which is one of leading events of the European Audiovisual sector, both as a showcase for new works and a meeting place for EC, national and regional institutions, has also hosted the Industry Forum which had a series of meetings on themes including international financing of European cinema, international marketing and distribution in which the Executive Director of Eurimages, Mr Roberto Olla, participated.
