Eurimages rewarded by two Prizes for European Cinema - EFA

Having awarded the Prize for Co-production – Eurimages Prize to the Turkish producer Zeynep ÷zbatur (see photo) last Saturday in Tallinn, the Eurimages Fund saw two co-productions it has supported being rewarded with European Cinema Prizes: the People’s Choice Award for Best European Film 2010 for Mr Nobody by Jaco Van Dormael and the Prize for Best European Actress 2010 to Sylvie Testud for her interpretation in “Lourdes” by Jessica Hausner.

  • From 1 January 2016, the rules for Eurimages' support for theatres have been modified. A theatre that wishes to join the network must apply before 30 June at 6pm of the current year for an accession the following year.

    Full participation in the Creative Europe-Media Sub-programme is announced for 2016 for “the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”, Albania and Serbia. Therefore these countries will no longer be eligible for Eurimages’ theatre support programme.

    Only theatres located in Eurimages member states that do not have access to support under the Creative Europe MEDIA programme are eligible for the Eurimages programme of support for theatres: Armenia, Georgia, Russian Federation, Switzerland and Turkey.

     

Info for distributors

  • From 1 January 2016, the rules for Eurimages' support for distribution have been modified.

    Full participation in the Creative Europe-Media Sub-programme is announced for 2016 for “the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”, Albania and Serbia. Therefore these countries will no longer be eligible for Eurimages’ distribution support programmes.

    This support is intended for professionals based in Eurimages member states which do not have access to the EU Creative Europe-MEDIA distribution programme: Armenia, Georgia, Russian Federation, Switzerland and Turkey.
