CONTEXT
The workshop intends to provide history teachers, curriculum developers, advisers and teacher trainers with tools enabling them to develop pupils’ ability to see, understand and value the influence of different people, nations and cultures in art, architecture, environment through centuries. It will also encourage history teachers to use different methods and pedagogical approaches to widen pupils’ understanding of history and culture, i.e. through pedagogical programmes of museums, archives, study visits and guided tours in History teaching. Experiences and good practice in out-of school education, as a pedagogical approach in history teaching, will be shared during the workshop.
