Bern Convention: 10th Meeting of the Group of Experts on the Conservation of Invertebrates

The Bern Convention Group of Experts on Invertebrates, created in 1989, will meet for the 10th time in Tirana (Albania) on 23-24 September 2013. The experts will review the implementation of Recommendation No. 120 (2006) on the European Strategy for the Conservation of Invertebrates and the national policies put in place to assess and counter threats to invertebrates. The group will also discuss the impacts of neurotoxic insecticides on pollinators and debate a draft recommendation on the topic. The meeting will be followed by a field visit to Sazan-Karaburun Marine National Park on Tuesday 24th September 2013.
